I looked at just buying 1/8” neoprene at a fabric store because it was cheaper but it was just square and flimsy and it creased under the saddle pad so I ordered this hoping it would be stiffer and more horse shaped since it was actually a saddle pad liner. This is exactly the same thing so I'm not really impressed.

The felt is not as dense or soft as I thought it would be. I thought it would be more like what the Kush Pads are made of. Doesn’t seem like it would be very comfortable against the horses skin. Not sure if I will be using it or not.

I love my pad on my hamleys ranch saddle I ride 12-16 hours a day and it works amazing as well as with my rodeo saddles however my boyfriends tips saddle with a 3b tree does not keep the pad under it he’s constantly readjusting his pad but the saddle stays where it’s put. I also thought the liner would stay under the pad a little better so I will be returning that.
